We stayed at Moots room 202 for 14 days and had an amazing experience. Moots is in the La Valera neighbourhood in Tulum. It’s an up and coming neighbourhood with many unpaved roads and lots of new construction, but if you take the easiest route you only have 2 or 3 unpaved blocks, and we rode there everyday on a motorbike without trouble. There are a lot of great restaurants, cafes and shops in close walking distance. (An OXXO convenience store is only 2 blocks away). Besides location, we chose this place for the features of the room. The spacious room has a kitchen with many nice new appliances and our own personal pool on a huge balcony. There’s even an outdoor grill. Everything about the room was stylish and well designed. The main pool was gorgeous, and has different platforms and steps to relax in multiple lounging positions in the courtyard nicely landscaped to feel like you’re still in the jungle that the neighbourhood recently was transformed from. The ac and ceiling fan kept us nice and comfortable, although the bed was on the firmer side. The staff we met, Pamela and Nayive, were absolutely amazing. They were friendly and helpful, offering advice on how to get what we needed and plan activities. When our wallet got stolen with our room key and we found out at 9pm they were not only communicative and found us an immediate solution of another room short term (the hotel only has reception from (9am-6pm), but Pamela even drove out to bring us a second key. It is an AirBnB/VRBO type of set-up, not full service hotel though, so don’t expect frequent housekeeping, toiletry and towel restocks. Considering the location, features, and clear desire of the staff to provide a great guest experience, this place is an amazing value. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Tulum. To us it delivered well beyond the price!
Great Airbnb spot, fairly priced for the offering. A little off the beaten path but it looks like the area is booming with construction but the restaurants across the street are amazing with a broad menu and cheaply priced.
AMAZING! wished we would stay longer. Super super sanitary. Staff constantly cleaning. Covid safe. The staff is always available. Has Security guard and cameras outside for safety.. Super beautiful on the inside. Private pool as well as general. Washer n dryer available. Great for couples who are traveling together. Will stay here again n again. Keep up the good work in cleaning and keeping guest as safe as possible from covid.
Spacious and new! Host was great and accommodating specially when internet was inconsistent. Kitchen & bathroom had everything you would need just bring extra towels and blankets. There are constructions around and could be noisy at times but it didn’t bother us. We enjoyed free Netflix access & the mini tub and will definitely go back
Well located condos/airbnb, with amazing private pool on balcony. Pricing is AMAZING, we booked back in february for our august vacation (down season). Located near Tulum's downtown, the location js in developpement but you can find everything around. Loved it. Only issue the bed is very stiff, that is it. Would recommend and return.
Stayed over 4 nights in December 2022 trough Airbnb and experience was great :-) Comfortable apartments with pool and everyting you need. The only cons are the road to the apartments as the area is being build so there are many potholes around and washing machine/dryer was not well maintained as it was dirty and one of two was not working at all. But that didn't change my mind, that I will book my stay there again :-)
We stayed there for 7 nights in february 22. Nice room with lot of space. Big Whirlpool on terrace. It is a well protected area we feel save the whole time. Privat parking area and also laundry is available. Downstair is a big public pool which is cleaned every day and a coffee shop is in the same building. In whole town of Tulum and also nearby the hotel are lot of construction works in progress, but its not theres fault. Best thing is a super WLAN and also TV with netflix and amazon prime access: We enjoyed it a lot.
I booked with Airbnb, but I wanted to leave a review because the onsite staff were amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We got a lot of stories and culture from the man downstairs. HIs family had moved to Tulum a long time ago and in the area, we were staying in, it used to be Jungle. He was amazing. Thank you for making our experience amazing!
